Alonia is level with Rapsani, ten minutes on foot from the square. So its harvest is never just the six of us. This year two neighbours came, the baker's nephew, and a couple from Larissa who had come for a tasting the day before.
At noon we ate under the walnut tree: pie, cheese, tomatoes and last year's Alonia. In the afternoon we weighed: a little less than last year, healthy grapes, not one rotten bunch.
